An estimated 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, making it the most common form of cancer in women in the United States, except for skin cancers. The good news is early detection, research, and innovative treatment options continue to help save more patient lives as the number of deaths from the disease continues to decrease steadily.
